Memorial services for Mr. Jerry F. Jowers, age 74, are scheduled for 6 PM, Friday, March 21, 2014 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Bro. Mark McCaslin officiating. Mr. Jowers passed away February 6 at his home in Lexington. He was born March 21, 1939 in Lexington to the late Alex Jowers and Jewell Fortner Hall. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Jowers and three sisters, Susan Daws, Pauline Renfroe, and Velva Jane Jowers. Survivors include his two daughters, Barbara Ann and Glenda Sue of Chicago, IL, two brothers, Cliff and Alex Ray Jowers, and four sisters, Nadine Havener, Debbie Jackson, Mary Carol Jowers, and Ruby Wildridge.
