Jerry Elwin Saint, age 63, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, March 06, 2020 in a tragic car accident.
Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He drove a concrete truck for USA Cemex. If you was blessed enough to love him, you had a friend who loved you. He loved everyone unconditionally, always without judgement. You knew he loved you by the way he looked at you and he always made you welcome. He had a heart of gold, never met a stranger, and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. His words when leaving somewhere, was always “have a blessed day”.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, March 08, 2020 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 09, 2020 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. James “Eb” Neeley and Bro. Steve Amos officiating. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery with military honors.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Emanuel Saint; mother, Effie Geniva Kerby; and nephew, Shea Saint.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years, Paula Saint; daughter, Kristy Thompson; son, Cody Williams (wife, Michelle); grandchildren, Anilee Bailey, Adren Bailey, Adri Williams, Nate Thompson, Nicholas Williams, Collin Williams, Jesse McCafferty; great-grandchildren, Blaze McCafferty, Ezekiel Gayle; siblings, Joy Neeley, Buddy Saint (wife, Annette), Dennis Saint (wife, Shelby), Pat Posey (husband, Johnny), Billy Saint; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors, who loved Jerry very much.
The pallbearers will be Heath Saint, Jared Posey, Derek Hill, Eric Mills, Tyler Neeley, Bradley Saint, Matt Saint, and Eric Saint. The honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Williams, Collin Williams, Jesse McCafferty, Austin Saint, Ethan Saint, Aidan Day, and Garrett Crowden.
The family will be gathering together at the Best Western Plus banquet room after the burial.
