Jerry Donald Whitt Sr. of Pulaski passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. He was born in Fayetteville, TN on October 19, 1932 and was 83 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, TX. He was enlisted in the Navy and owned Whitt Oil Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he was a deacon, trustee, gideon and very involved with supporting the church and helping on numerous committees through the years. He always put the Lord Jesus Christ above everything.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4th from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church with Tony Gomillion officiating.
Memorial donations as asked to go to First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hilda Merrell Whitt, sister, Elanie Barnes, and brother, Merrell Whitt.
