Jerry Dan Milford was born November 30, 1932 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Dennis Edgar and Jewel Garrison Milford.
He was united in marriage to Helen Lucille Stroud on February 28, 1953. Helen preceded him in death on April 20, 2003 following 50 years of marriage.
Jerry served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955, attaining the rank of Corporal. Prior to entering military service, Jerry worked for the Peoria Tent & Awning Company in Peoria, IL and farmed. He later worked as a pipefitter and electrician in the construction industry, and was a member of Steamfitter Local 614 since 1978. Jerry loved to hunt and enjoyed participating in the shooting sports, but his greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.
Jerry departed this life on October 1, 2016 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 10 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by three daughters: Linda Harville and husband Doyle of Stantonville, TN, Pam Taylor and husband Bob and Sheri Glidewell and husband Joey, all of Adamsville, TN; a son, Robert (Bobby) Milford and wife Tracy of Stantonville, TN; nine grandchildren: Amber Kiddy and husband Ashton Feehan, Bryce Kiddy, David Harville and wife Jana, Josh Harville and wife Amanda, Chance Taylor and wife Audra, Dena Milford and fiancé Tommy Davis, Jr., Daniel Milford, Charley Jackson and wife Lizzy, and Jada Nixon and husband Dusty; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Carolyn Murphy, Ann (Worm) Milford, and Sandra Whitten and husband Jerry, all of Stantonville, TN; two brothers, Ray Milford and wife Shirley and Rex Milford and wife Betty, all of Stantonville, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Doyle Clay Milford, and a grandchild, Tara Lynn Kiddy.
