Jerry Anderson Johnson, age 84 of Adamsville, passed away Monday July 31, 2017. He was a minister of the Gospel for over sixty years.
Funeral service will be Thursday August 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Brookside Church of Christ in Birmingham, Al. Mr. Ray Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow at Bivens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lizzie Johnson; brother, Ronnie Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Nancy Burkett Johnson; daughters, Ruth Johnson Brooks (Ray) and Sarah Johnson; grandchildren, Luke Brooks (Megan) and James Brooks; brother, Wade Johnson; and countless neighbors.
