Jerrold was united in marriage to Billie Jo Bendall on December 11, 1971, sharing a life filled with love and companionship until her passing on January 12, 2023. A proud graduate of Adamsville High School, he dedicated many years of his life as a fence contractor, a profession he took great pride in.

He attended both Solitude Freewill Baptist Church and Hope Presbyterian Church. His faith was an essential part of his life.

Jerrold found joy in various pursuits; he loved fishing, gardening, and feeding the birds. He also enjoyed playing cards and dominos, savoring the quiet pleasure of reading novels, and most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family.

He leaves behind two sons, Kelvin Wayne Stewart and his wife Jaclynne, and James Gregory Stewart and his wife Patricia Beth Sprague. Jerrold was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren—Marley Stewart, Brayden Stewart and wife Alana, Garrett Stewart, and Lydia Stewart—along with his great-grandson, Waylon Lundy. He is also survived by two brothers, Nelson Stewart and his wife Becky, and Ricky Stewart and his wife Darlene; sister-in-law, Gail Stewart; as well as a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, Jerrold was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Cole (and her husband Boyd), and three brothers: Elvin Stewart (and his wife Wanelle), Bob Stewart (and his wife Joanne), and Tommy Stewart.

Jerrold Dane Stewart will be remembered fondly for his warmth, generosity, and the love he extended to all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
