Jerrel Smalley, 90 of Arab died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Marshall Medical Center North.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years: Louise Martin Smalley; a son and daughter-in-law: Dan and Mary Nell Smalley; a daughter and son-in-law: Jan and Brad Kitchens; four grandchildren and spouses: Jeremy Smalley (Amber), Dana Camp (Brian), Wesley Kitchens and Caleigh Kitchens; a great grandson: James Camp and a brother: Rex Smalley; several nieces, nephews, other family members, his church family and many dear friends and neighbors; preceded in death by his parents: John A. and Beulah Martin Smalley, three brothers: Bryant, Ray and Rayburn Smalley and a sister: Mildred Deerman.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Arab First Baptist Church, Dr. Clint Landry and Reverend Kenny Baskins, officiating, eulogy by Reverend Jeremy Smalley. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Childers, Rickey Cornutt, Brad Cox, Jack Hamilton, James Long, Bruce Smalley, Glen Walker and Jalon Whitt; Honorary Pallbearers, Arab FFA.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Arab First Baptist Church.
