Jerome Wagnon age 74 of Athens, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Wagnon was born July 17, 1943 in Limestone County, AL to Oscar Wagnon and Willie Lou Pike Wagnon.
Services will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 3:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Chris Preston and Ricky Davis officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery

Mr. Wagnon was a member of Bethel Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ann Wagnon; parents, Oscar and Willie Lou Wagnon; brothers, Mahlon Wagnon, Thomas “Bubba” Wagnon; sister, Linda Aldridge.
Survived by two sons, Keith Wagnon wife, Erica and Brian Wagnon (Amanda Garvin); one daughter, Amy Coffman and husband, Gordon; eight grandchildren, Kayla Wagnon, Tyler Wagnon, Jack Henry Coffman, Leyton Coffman, Andrew Gilewicz, Jordan Gilewicz, Thornton Garvin and Jack Garvin; brother, Phillip “Penny” Wagnon; sister, Jewell Smith; brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Randall Wagnon, Joseph Hastings, Kevin Wagnon, Phil Wagnon, Kenneth Prater and Stanley Menefee. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Aldridge, Russell Casey, Bob Ward, Joe Isom, Danny Barksdale, Charlie Privett and all store buddies.
