Jerel “Buck” Julian Kornemann, 73 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, March, 18, 2023 at his residence. He was born on March 7, 1950, in Omaha, Nebraska to Robert Henry Kornemann and Norma M. Greenstreet Kornemann.
Mr. Kornemann is survived by his wife Brenda K. Kornemann; sons Robert B. Kornemann ( Stephanie) and Chase T. Kornemann (Alexis); grandsons Bayley Kornemann (Madilyn) and Taylor Kornemann.
A memorial service for Mr. Kornemann will be Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:00pm at Clements Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00-2:00pm at the church.
Mr. Kornemann was a veteran of the United States Army.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to St. Jude Hospital in Mr. Kornemann’s honor.
