A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Jennifer Murphy Cowen, 73, will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Cemetery with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No public visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Cowen passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1951, in Morgan County, to Clyde Buford Murphy, Jr. and Frances Beatrice Hargitt Murphy.
She was employed by Dr. Brown, as an LPN, prior to her retirement. She loved her family dearly , enjoyed gospel music and she loved dogs. Mrs. Cowen was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and a sister: Jeanette Glasscock.

Husband – William Roy “Son” Cowen, Jr. ,
Son – Jonathan Cowen (Leslie)
Sister – Janice Coleman
