Jennifer Michelle Congo, 39, of Pittsview, passed away Saturday.
Jennifer lived in a small town in Alabama called Pittsview, a place she was proud to call home. She had a natural gift to walk into any room, whether it be the darkest, and light the whole thing up. Jennifer took pride in the ones she held close and called family. She was a very strong, powerful, and independent woman who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need, even if it meant taking from her own plate. Her generosity, her love, and her compassion for others will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Congo; father, Larry Congo; brother, Big Jamie Congo; and cousin, Jessie Ray.
Surviving are her Fiancé, Steve Smith Jr.; son, Ricky Congo; aunts, Angie Hopkins and Tammy Coffey; nephews, Jamie Congo and Zachary Congo; and cousin, Amie Marlowe.
Visitation with the family will be Friday 1pm to 3pm at New Hope Funeral Home.
