A memorial service for Jennifer Marie Byrd will be announced by Peck Funeral Home. Marie Byrd was born on November 22, 1981 to George and Evelyn Cook in Alabama. She died on March 22, 2025 at her residence.
Marie was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. She loved traveling, helping others, and spending time with her family. She occasionally had a tough time choosing between enjoying a scenic mountain getaway or a warm day on the beach, or whether she preferred Spring over Fall. Friends and family alike can attest to her generosity, her humble demeanor, and radiant personality and spirit.
Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her father George R. Cook, Grandmother Gladys Mae Hussey Cook, Grandfather Roy Cook, Aunt Esther Brubaker, Grandfather George R. Pruitt, Grandmother Mary Loucks, and Uncle Charles “Chuck” Henderson.
