Jennifer Lind Midboe Perreault, 65, lost her battle with cancer on December 22, 2016 in Huntsville, Alabama. She leaves behind her loving husband of over 30 years, Lawrence ‘Larry’ Perreault; children, Matthew Lind Midboe and Amanda Marie Midboe; granddaughters, Emily Josephine Freeland and Sadie Amelia Rose Midboe; and sisters, Theresa Mcabee and Maggie Lind. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Midboe, and her parents, Sadie Elizabeth Barber and Robert James Lind.
Jennifer was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee but eventually relocated to Huntsville with her husband and children. She volunteered at Randolph School for the annual Halloween Carnivals, Bridge Benefit fundraisers and the inaugural Under the Christmas Tree fundraiser. After the untimely death of her first husband, Jennifer devoted herself to her family and a successful career in real estate. A tireless leader, she served as President of the Huntsville Board of REALTORS and Multiple Listing Service and was instrumental in the computerization of the MLS. She served as a Director, member and chair for numerous professional committees and panels and was awarded the REALTOR Active in Politics award for her success lobbying for passage of Alabama’s Fair Housing legislation. It was during this time that she met and married Larry Perreault, gaining three step-sons and eventually eight grandchildren. She was also a dog lover, most recently doting on her two rescue dogs. Her positive attitude, compassion, and exceptional knowledge will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, family encourages donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or A New Leash on Life.
