Jennifer Leigh Mead, 49, of Cullman, Alabama, went to her Heavenly home Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center, in Cullman, Alabama, with her Mother holding her hand as she began her journey to Heaven.
Jennifer was born on Friday, September 12, 1975, at Woodland Hospital, Cullman, Alabama, to Johnny and Carol Mead. She entered her Heavenly rest on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center, Cullman, Alabama.
Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her son, Carter. They shared special times together doing things they loved to do, like taking trips to the beach, the mountains, amusement parks, and really enjoyed their Pizza and Movie nights on Friday night. She enjoyed cooking, going “treasure hunting”, and spending time with her family.
Jennifer was a devoted employee at Eva Bank in Arab and Cullman. She loved sharing conversations with her customers and her co-workers. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church where she taught Kindergarten children on Wednesday Nights.
Ms. Mead was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Mead, her brother Johnathan Cary Mead, and an unborn sibling; her Grandparents: Verna Hines Nickens (Mawmaw Wernie) and Clarence Evans, all of Cullman; her Uncle Barry Yarbrough of Loxley, Alabama.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Carter John Mead; her mother, Carol Mead; her sister, Jordan (Clint) Jones; nephews John Nolan and Jaxton Jones, and niece Karsyn Jones, all of Cullman, Alabama. Her Aunt Brenda Yarbrough, Loxley, Alabama; special cousins, Halie (Kevin) Jones, Cadence and Kye Jones, Loxley, Alabama, Brandie (Sam) Williams, Samantha Waugh, and Michael Waugh, Richmond Hill, Georgia. Many more cousins, co-workers, and friends.
Her family and friends will always remember her beautiful smiles, curly hair, spirited personality, and her love for her Heavenly Father.
In lieu of flowers, Jennifer’s family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Cullman Christian School.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m, and Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Service will be officiated by Ory Hampton and Zach Mitchell with special music by Jaylynn and Trina Milligan.
