Jennifer Leigh Harrington Lopez was born on October 7th, 1978, at Women’s Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Steve and Sonya Harrington.
At the age of four, she moved with her family to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she spent most of her childhood and adult life.
While growing up in Chattanooga, Jennifer formed a lifelong friendship with her best friend, Paula Weir, a bond that remained dear to her throughout the years.
Jennifer was the beloved sister of Christopher Harrington (Mike), Jason Harrington, and Christian Harrington.
She was the proud and loving mother of four children: Christopher Fitzgerald Townsend Jr., Sydnae Alexander Crosse Harrington Townsend, Kentrayal Bry’jon Townsend, and Kresslyn Blakeli Nevaeh Hodes.
Later in life, Jennifer made her home in Birmingham, Alabama, where she spent the remainder of her life.
A family memorial service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 2026.
