Jennifer Fitzgerald Breedlove, born on February 3,1951, went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2026.
Jennifer grew up in Danville, AL where she was a cheerleader and volleyball player in high school. She enjoyed showing cows in FFA competitions, riding horses on the farm, and proved to be a strong family hand to her mom and siblings while her dad was away for multiple heart surgeries. She played the piano at Friendship Baptist Church in her earlier years.
Jennifer loved sports. She loved watching Golden State Warriors basketball and continued to be a faithful supporter of her children, nieces, nephews, and grandkids through their years of little league through college. Jennifer will be remembered most for her love for family. Jennifer was an amazing mother and grandmother. Her love was unquestionably deep, dedicated, and unwavering. Her desire was for her family and for them to be with her.
She was preceded in death by her husband- Dwight Breedlove, her parents and a brother-in-law- Chip Mathews.
Jennifer leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, hard work, and selflessness. Though her absence leaves an unimaginable void, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her strength, kindness, humor, and servant’s heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be at Danville Baptist Church on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2 PM. Visitation from 12 PM – 2 PM at the church.
Survivors include:
two sons – Lance Breedlove (Heather) and
Brent Breedlove (Bobbie),
a daughter – Lori Bailey (Joe),
her brother – Bruce Fitzgerald (Tammy), and
a sister – Carolyn Mathews,
Eight Grandchildren – Jackson Breedlove,
Lily Clowers, Collin Breedlove,
Sarah Margaret Clowers,
Arden Breedlove, Ty Bailey,
Josie Bailey and Jaye Breedlove.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Turrentine, Freddie Turrentine, Grant Fitzgerald, Drew Fitzgerald, Joe Fitzgerald, Matthew Tidwell, Charlie Sparkman, and Cory Garner.
