Ms. Easley died on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born October 14, 1976, in Morgan County to John Easley and Debbie Clanton Easley.
Our Jenn was unique. She was all of ours. No woman brought people together the way Jennifer could. She made loving others seem effortless, especially children. Jennifer was the light of Jesus to the world. She drew people in because she exuded Christ’s love in all she did. She had amazing optimism, always reminding us of how blessed she was even in the midst of her own adversities. Many of us will continue to learn life lessons from Jennifer’s legacy.
Her teaching career spanned many years, from helping in her mom’s classroom through years of substitutable teaching, to finally having a classroom of her own. She accepted challenges without hesitation, meeting each one with a smile…..and gum.
Her hobbies included drawing, games and game shows, and telling jokes. She was quite the entertainer. Jenn’s artistic abilities were phenomenal. Much of her artwork is reflected today on the walls of schools, homes and her church. Jenn’s elderly card ministry was dear to her heart and impacted so many lives. She loved riding with her dad on his motorcycle and racing go-carts. Her love for family was second only to her love for Christ.
