Jennie Levon “Von” Pruitt, age 87, of Florence passed away Monday, May 6, 2019.
Visitation will be today, May 8th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Piney Grove Cemetery with Brother Clifford Miles officiating. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Pruitt was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ and was owner of Von’s Wash House in North Florence until the 70’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Almond Ray Pruitt; parents, Farris and Annie Bogus; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include children, Beverly Pruitt Ashby (Gaylord), Debra Rich (Steve) and Dennis Pruitt (Lisa); five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to her caregivers, Bonya Ross Guthrie, Deona Russell, and Paula Davis for their love and care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
