Jennie Fae King, 82 of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, August 18, 2012. Her visitation will be Monday, August 20th from 6 pm until 8 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her service will be Tuesday at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gene Franks and Bro. Truman Kimbrough officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. King was a member of Tuscumbia Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Helen Keller Hospital after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Louie, Leo, and Lester Stonecipher; and her sister, Mary V. Jones.
She is survived by her son, Donald King and wife Beverly; daughters, Janice Gilchrist and husband George, and Jacque Hester; brothers, Lois and Lile Stonecipher; sisters, Lula Mae Pounders, Leona Willis, Hazel Pate, and Ida Mae Michael; grandchildren, Beth Moore and husband Marc, Eric Hester, Brooke Pigg and husband Todd, and Josh King; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
