Jennie Diane Neal, age 73, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Neal will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Westside Church of Christ in Brownsville, TN with Minister Josh Barnett officiating. The first visitation will be held on Monday evening, November 14, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. The second visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM at the Westside Church of Christ. The burial will take place at Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Neal was born January 29, 1949, in Henning, TN. She was a faithful member of the Westside Church of Christ. She was married for 59 years to her beloved husband, Robert Neal. She retired as the secretary of Neal’s Pest Control. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by them. As a homemaker, she loved taking care of her family and especially enjoyed cooking for them. She also enjoyed watching old western movies. She is survived by her husband, Robert Neal; three sons, Bobby Neal (Amanda), Greg Neal (Libby), Jeffrey Neal (Marcia) all of Brownsville, TN; three brothers, Lynn Pipkin (Patty) of Lebanon Junction, KY; Rusty Pipkin (Tina) of Ashland City, TN and Dean Bailey of Oakland, TN; eight sisters, Alice Brown (Gary) of Ripley, TN, Carol Stovall (Brian) of Ripley, TN, Barbara Sharp (James) Lawrenceburg, TN, Skippy Hale (Mike) of Joelton, TN, Mary Birdno of Ripley, TN, Kay Miller of Bartlett, TN, Melody Lemmon of Bartlett, TN and Lisa Welch of Lumberton, TX. She leaves a legacy of love for her grandchildren Courtney Graves (Andrew), Karson Neal, Ashley Neal, Avery Neal, Nathan Neal, Caroline Neal; two great-grandchildren, Eston McBride and Baylei Graves. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Quention Bailey and Mary Lucille Harris; one grandchild, Sydney Diane Neal; two brothers, Les Meter and Terry Pipkin. Pallbearers for the service are Nathan Neal, Ryan Neal, Richard Neal, Bo Brown, Dewayne Caviness, Timmy Caviness, David Pipkin and Jeff Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers are Jamie Pipkin, Bill Anderson, and Doyle Neal, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Westside Church of Christ, 3235 Hwy. 54 W, Brownsville, TN 38012. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
