Jennie Ann Irons, age 58, passed away on 4/30/2025 surrounded by family in her home of Russellville, Alabama. She was raised in Memphis, Tennessee by her parents, Winnie Mack and Jim Carroll.
Jennie Ann is survived by her husband, Allen Irons; son, Clint Irons; daughter, Ashley Broome; and son-in-law, Will Broome. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and son, Blake Irons.
Jennie Ann was a caring wife, loving mother, hilarious friend, follower of Jesus Christ, and member of the Catholic Church. She was best known for giving. Whether it be a well-thought gift, a delicious meal, a quick-witted remark, or a belly hurting laugh, Jennie Ann was always prepared to give. She was most devoted to fostering relationships in her family and building a welcoming home.
A memorial service for Jennie Ann will be held on May 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Russellville, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by services at 11 a.m. She will be buried at Riverbend Church of Christ Cemetery in Florence, Alabama, following services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Jennie Ann will be deeply missed and always remembered by her family and friends. All who knew Jennie Ann knew she was one of a kind.
