Funeral service for Jeffrey Rives, age 47, of Mason, OH, will be conducted Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Mr. Rives passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 in Hamilton, OH.
Mr. Rives was a native of Fayetteville, TN, the son of Willie and Judy Groce Rives of Fayetteville, TN. Mr. Rives was a machinist for General Tool Company.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his brother Brian Rives and wife Stephanie of Fayetteville, TN, nephew Benjamin Rives and niece Addalyn Rives both of Fayetteville, TN. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles and Thelma Groce and paternal grandparents C.H. And Gladys Rives.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 3 until 4 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

R.I.P. Jeff…Wish our second jump together could have happened, but wasn’t to be. You looked happy though sitting by the open door as we climbed to altitude. I was eager to get my 499th jump done, but the clouds had a different plan. Grateful to have met you. Hope you are flying among the clouds now and smiling big..
