Jeffrey “Jeff” Craig Morrow, age 64, of the Union Hill Community of Somerville, Alabama, passed away at his residence the afternoon of Friday, July 4, 2025. Born in Nashville, Tennessee on January 11, 1961, Jeff grew up surrounded by the love of his parents, Stella Vee Irwin and Alonzo Cletus Morrow, and the camaraderie of his four brothers. For over 39 years, he shared a steadfast and caring partnership with his wife, Janet Lynn Levings Morrow, building a home filled with laughter, faith, and countless memories.
Jeff’s enterprising spirit led him to own and operate his own Lawn Care Service, where his dedication to his craft was visible in the Community. A man of faith, Jeff was a member of Pine Grove Free Holiness Church, where he found strength, purpose, and fellowship.
Jeff’s heart belonged to the great outdoors. He found peace and joy in hunting and fishing, and he rarely missed an Alabama football game. Of all his roles, none gave him greater pride than being a grandfather. Watching his grandchildren play sports was a source of boundless happiness and pride. He delighted in every game, every accomplishment, and every shared moment on the sidelines. An avid tinkerer, Jeff enjoyed working on automobiles and lawn mowers, forever seeking to restore a piece of equipment to new life.
Jeff’s legacy lives on in the lives of his beloved family and the many friends he touched throughout his 64 years. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Family cherishing memories of Jeff include his wife, Janet L. Morrow; daughter, Katherine “Katie” J. Cameron (Jeffery R.); grandchildren, Landon Cameron and Liam Cameron; brothers, Cletus Morrow (Jan), Ricky Morrow (Janice), Danny Morrow (Carol); sister-in-law, Susie Morrow; and extended family members.
Along with his parents, Stella and Alonzo Morrow, Jeff is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy L. Lindsey; and brother, Randy Morrow.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 9, 2025 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral service which will begin at 2:00 pm. Officiating services will be Brother Jared Shields. Escorting Jeff to his final resting place in Rice Cemetery will be Jeffery Cameron, Cletus Morrow, Ricky Morrow, Danny Morrow, Landon Cameron and Stetson Compton. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Katherine” Katie” Cameron. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
