Funeral service with Military Honors for Jeffrey Allen Lea age 62 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 7:00p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Hill officiating with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be buried with Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
Mr. Lea, was born November 4, 1958 in Oak Harbor, Washington to Malcomb Allen Lea and Anita Bevill Lea, died on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He retired as a Senior Security Specialist with the Missile Defense Agency at Redstone Arsenal. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cherie Teague Lea; a sister, Lisa Lea McRay; 2 grandchildren, Ethan Noble and Silas Bartlett; 2 nephews, Shane McRay and Shawn McRay and a niece, Megan McRay.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shane McRay, Shawn McRay, Chis Stewart, Tony Weikert, Kenny Kirkland, Terry Smith, Chris Greenstein, Bailey Herfurth and Jack Napier.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
