Jeffery Lee Nix, age 55, of Columbia, TN passed away Thursday, December 03, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Columbia in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a graduate of UT Knoxville, and a member of Summertown Church of Christ. Mr. Nix served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Nix; and his grandparents, Carroll and Edith Nix and Allen and Lena McClain.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, December 05, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 05, 2015, with Ricky Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
