Jeffery Burnet James, age 55, Sylacauga, Alabama, formerly of Haleyville passed away October 7, 2013. Jeff was a University of Alabama graduate and an avid Crimson tide fan. He was a member of Ridgcrest Baptist Church in Trussville, Al. In his free time Jeff enjoyed playing guitar, golfing, flying radio control airplanes, and watching Alabama Football with friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Brandon Michael James and Patrick Thomas James; sister, Janet James; grandparents, Noley Blaine and Irene Roberson Kilpatrick and Mr. and Mrs Walter Joe James, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Sonja James; parents, Bill and Rudi James; stepdaughters, Heather Edwards and Lindsay Giambrone; four granddaughters; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as other family and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Funeral service following at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Lance Hogan officiating.
