Jeannie Kaye Davis Matherson, age 43 of Akron, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Sardis Cemetery on the River Road. Mike King and Terry Whitlow will officiate.
Mrs. Matherson was preceded in death by her Grandfather-Hoover Gurley; Grandmother-Bertha Gurley; Grandfather-Tom Davis; Grandmother-Miriam Davis; Aunts-Janice Bailey and Denise Swindle; Cousins-Stacey Swindle and Wendy Harbin.
She is survived by her Husband-Brad Matherson; Mother-Donna K. Gurley; Father-Gerald D. Davis; Step Mother-Wanda Davis; Daughter-Katie Johnson; Sons-Ben Johnson, Jerry Matherson and Trent Matherson; Sister-Tonya Perrin; Sister-in-law-Sabrina Davis; Brother-Jeremy D. Davis; Aunt-Dianne Gurley; Uncles-Michael David Gurley and Ikey Swindle; Nieces-Melanie Davis, Miraina Davis, Abby Davis, Jaci and Lyndsie Harbin; Nephew-Dewayne Perrin; Special Friend-Shane Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Tony Perrin, Dewayne Perrin, Tim Sandoval and Michael Shedd.
