Jeannie was at the top of her high school class and one of the first female graduates in the electrical engineering program at Auburn University. Being the only girl in a class of 44 boys, she quickly drew the attention of a young Phillip Alexander, who swiftly became the love of her life.
Jeannie (GG) was a mother first. Her electric personality and exuberance for life came with the laughter and joy of her children and more importantly her grandchildren. Her energy never stopped there. She had love and care for the children and friends in every neighborhood she graced.
Jeannie served as the music director for New Life Church and loved and was beloved by the congress there. She enjoyed planning a garden, caring for babies, leading bible studies, and giving companionship and advice when needed, Jeannie was a source of love, care, and inspiration, to her family, church, and community. Teaching people to love music, farming, jokes, and even just life itself, she will be greatly missed.
