Ms. Jeanne Lynn Earwood, age 82, of Holly Pond, Alabama passed away Friday, May 30 at Diversicare of Arab. Jeanne was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 16, 1942. Jeanne was one of seven children born to her parents. She was an active member of Spirit of the Cross Church in Huntsville, AL.

Jeanne left a lasting legacy of kindness and devotion. She was known for her angelic voice which she used to inspire, touch hearts and uplift souls. Her life was marked by selflessness, as she engaged in various forms of mission work and extended her hands to help with hurricane relief. Jeanne was a talented seamstress as well and brought beauty and creativity to the craft.
Above all, she was a wonderful mother, whose love and guidance shaped the lives of her children and family. Ms. Jeanne Lynn Earwood will be remembered as a woman of faith, artistry, and immense generosity. She left this world better through her presence and deeds. Her legacy will be carried on not only through her family but also through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and grace.
Family members left behind to cherish their memories include: sons, Rick Earwood, Tim Earwood, and Johnathan Earwood; daughter, Cecelia Earwood; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, George Marston, Jim Marston, Dan Marston and Gary Lee Marston.
Preceding Jeanne in death are her parents and her sisters, Judy Romero and Mary Jo Marston.
The family has chosen to honor Jeanne’s request for cremation.
