Jeanette Winsett Stockley went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning while surrounded by her loving family.  She was 83 and spent her whole life in Hazel Green. Jeanette was always concerned about others and worried about those who were hungry. She loved camping with her late husband but, more than anything, she loved spending time with all her family. She was kind and caring but also protective of those she loved.

She was preceded in Death by husband, Joseph Stockley; her parents, Robert and Ada Winsett; her brothers, Bobby Jean Winsett, Ottis Winsett, Carlon Winsett; her sisters, Marcell Middleton and Shirley Mosely.

Surviving Family includes her children, Dennis Stricklin, Greg (Myra) Morrow, Denise (Eric Bevels) Stockley, Fonda (Kendall) House, Cotina (O.J.) Simpson; step-sons Joe Jr., Walt, Glen Stockley; siblings, Brenda Holladay, Mike Winsett, Vickey Winsett, Rickey Winsett; grandchildren, Chad, Todd, Brian, Carlon, Caleb, Katelyn, Corey, Amber, Josh, Haile, Lucas, Gabriel, Kayla, Reighn, Lawryn; great-grandchildren, Easton, Ashlyn, Joseph, Caden, Austen, Wyatt, Lily, Audrey, Gunner, Lydia, Emery, Weston, David, Emma, Landon, Bryson, and Kynzley. She is also survived by a very special sister-in-law Linda Winsett, special cousins Jimmy and Gail Henderson, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday at 1pm at the funeral home with Reverend Greg Morrow officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Taylor Cemetery.

Jeanette will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for others, and her desire to help anyone in need.
