She was a member of First Baptist Church of Littleville. As a diabetic of over 55 years, she had relied on her Christian faith and support of many family members and friends to lead a full and active life until the last year. The family is very thankful to God for the continual strength given to allow her to have sustained health through these many years. She was the most loving, caring person of her family and friends. As her daughter, I can say that I was given the very best.
She was a 1958 graduate of Colbert County High School. She and her husband are former owners of the This N That and Everything store in Littleville.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Quinn, Dennis Whitfield, Frankie Meade, Justin Strait, Briggs Wright, William Wright, Bradley Landers, Brandon Strait and Don Strait Jr.
Special thanks is given to the staff of Southern Care Hospice, including Fran Williams, Jessica Benson, Danny Russell and Cindy Baker.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Diabetic Division of Endocrinology.
