Jeanette Price Mays Dennis was born May
13, 1947 to the late Ike and Christine McCrady
Price. She was the first child of this union. On
Monday, March 25, 2024 Jeanette closed her
eyes on this side, but opened them to behold the
presence of the Lord forever.
She accepted Christ and became a member of
Emmanuel Miracle Church of Trenton, TN.
She married James Mays who preceded her in
death. She later married Sgt. Larry L. Dennis.
She was the mother of seven children. She
worked as a caregiver most of her life. She en
joyed spending time with her friends, sewing,
crafts, watching movies and helping her family.
She leaves to cherish three sons, Kenneth
(Kenessha) Mays, Kevin Mays and James Mays;
three daughters, Anita Mays Glenn, Kimberly
Mays and Marie Smith; stepdaughters, Carla,
Crystal, Shenika and Louisa; stepson Jerome;
grandchildren, David Jr, Jaron, Christopher, Nau
tica, Mia, John, JD, Josha, Mariah, Makala,
James II, Aliyah, and Jaylon; great grandchil
dren, Isaiah, Braylon, Duna, Mya, Nayia, Mira
and Amari; two brothers, Isaiah (Juana) Price and
Thomas Price; four sisters, Doris Price, Mary
Price, Sonya Dance and Emma (Ray) Mays and a
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ike
and Christine Price; daughter, Stephanie Mays;
step son, Carlos Miller; son-in-law, Richard
Smith; brothers, Bob Allen, Kenneth Marvin,
Charles Erskin, Billy Price.
