Jeanette Cooper, 64, a life-long resident of Alabama, passed away Wednesday. Jeanette retired as a civil servant after more than thirty years. She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Lemons. Survivors include her mother, Emily “Ebbie” Lemons; daughter, Mandy East (Jamie); granddaughter, Claire East; sister Patti Adams (Marshall); niece Ashley Joyner (Lance); great-nephews Wyatt and Drake Joyner and special companion, Nelson Martin.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with the Pastor Larry Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Morgan County.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation, 3601 CCI Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805 (www.russelhill.org) for lung cancer research.
