Graveside service and Interment for Jeanette Blackwood, 84, will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Wendell Callahan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Blackwood died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at NHC Healthcare. She was born April 7, 1930, in Morgan County to Allie Russell and Minnie Hampton Aldridge. She was formerly an assembly worker for GTE Communication. She was preceded in death by her husband: Julian Blackwood, a son: Lamar Johnson and her parents.
