Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Roberts Blankenship, age 75, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 30, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Natchez Trace Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Blankenship passed away early Wednesday at her home. She was born May 31, 1939 in Lexington to the late Estes Lee and Lucille Fesmire Roberts. She was a member of Natchez Trace Missionary Baptist Church and loved reading and traveling, especially visits to the ocean. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Roberts. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Alford Blankenship of Wildersville; her son, Eric (Robin) Blankenship of Knoxville; two daughters, Kimberly (Bryan) Heikes of Zachary, LA and Beverly (Gerald) Wilbanks of Kossuth, MS; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her best friends, Joyce, Detrra, and Brandon Woods.
