Jean Miller, of Meridianville, AL, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 88. She was born in Murfreesboro, TN on January 27, 1933.
Upon completing her education from Middle Tennessee State College in 1956, she became an elementary school teacher. She taught 3rd grade in the Huntsville City School system for 24 years, retiring in 1991.
She faithfully attended First Baptist Church of Meridianville, founded in 1987, and was a charter member.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joe Miller.
She is survived by her daughters, Candace Childress, of Murfreesboro, TN and Christie Walker (Doug) of New Market, AL; and one grandson, Reid Walker, of New Market, AL.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 22nd at 1:00 PM in Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN with Rev. Tommy Bolan officiating.
