Mrs. Jean Marie Kalusha Goodman, age 92, of Decatur, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Riverside Senior Living. Her family will host a service in Cherokee Village, AR, with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements.
Mrs. Goodman was born December 17, 1928, in Bessemer, MI, to Rudolph Kalusha and Mary Marshalek Kalusha. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Dwight W. Goodman, one son, Gerald Goodman, her parents, one brother, Raymond “Ray” Kalusha, and one sister, Elizabeth A. “Betty” Cazier.
She is survived by six sons, Dwight Goodman (Bonnie) of Decatur, AL, Russell Goodman (Peggy) of Prague, OK, Craig Goodman (Louise) of Lubbock, TX, David Goodman (Elmona) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mark Goodman (Linda) of Mountain Home AR, and Richard Goodman (Kathy) of Boston, MA; two sisters, Margaret Mikulich of Michigan, and Delores “Dodie” Wilson (Mark) of Nevada; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nephews/nieces.
