Jean C Belmont Profile Photo Jean Louise (Chambers) Belmont, age 85, a resident of Spring Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Born on March 8, 1941, in Watertown, New York, Jean was the daughter of the late Richard William Chambers and the late Patricia Ann (Lambert) Gayne.

Jean possessed a rare gift for cultivating beauty wherever she went, whether in the quiet tranquility of her garden or the dynamic pace of the sales floor. She could often be found outdoors carefully tending to her beloved garden beds and pruning her roses to perfection. That same keen eye for balance, color, and detail propelled her to success in retail, first as a Coach Expert and later as a Specialist of Eileen Fisher high end clothing. Jean possessed a rare blend of elegance, drive, and hands-on devotion that elevated everything she touched. Guided by a lifelong Catholic faith shaped by her early education by Nuns, she rarely missed a Sunday Mass and lived her life as a testament to her beliefs.

She is survived by her son, Brendan (Melinda Baute) Belmont, daughter, Cassandra Ann (Robert) Poorman, grandchildren, Chelsea Jean (Gabriel Ward) Ratcliffe, Luke Liam Belmont, Tristan R P (Aleksandra Semanko) Poorman, Landon E B Poorman, step grandchildren, Megan Michelle Fee, Connor Jordan Fee, Garrett Spencer Fee, and great grandchildren, Harper Poorman and Arthur Ward Ratcliffe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Ann Chambers and Katherine Elaine (Chambers) Dudek.

The family will celebrate her life privately. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

“Grant her eternal joy, O Lord, in the kingdom of your light and peace. May she be comforted by the loving hug of her sisters and family.”
