Jean Hines Green, 89, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. Mrs. Green graduated from Huntsville High School where her father was principal. Four generations of her family graduated from Huntsville High. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church, and received numerous awards in her 30 years at US Army Missile Command. She loved her garden club and spending time at their condominium in Orange Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge John W. Green, Jr.
Survivors include her children, John W. Green III, Randy Green (Linda), and Ginny Green Murray (Michael); grandchildren, Matthew Green (Courtney), Justin Murray (Andie), Jared Murray (Lacey) and Laurel Green; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Green and Lilly Green.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church Chapel. The service will follow at 2 in the chapel with the Rev. Mark Seanor officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
