Graveside service for Mrs. Jean Green, age 73, of Moulton, will be Monday, September 1, 2014, 1 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Steve Agee officiating.
Mrs. Green, who died Friday, August 29, 2014, at UAB Hospital, was born June 27, 1941, in Morgan Co. AL, to Jessie C. Russell and Callie Cobb Russell.
Jean was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Jean loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she also loved gardening and reading.
Mrs. Green is preceded by her husband Thomas Emmett Green, son, Tim Green and her sister, Thelma Sisco.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Green (Melissa), Cecil Green , and Joel Green (Susan) all of Moulton, five sisters, Mae Hagood of Decatur, Mildred Hagood of Moulton, Jeanette Smith of Danville, Millie Waldrop of Moulton and Virginia Jackson of Moulton. Eight grandchildren, Christy Green, Heath Green, Pattie Green, Cheay Green, Cassie Green, Jessie Green, Brandon Terry and T.J. Green, and Twelve Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Heath Green, T.J. Green, Brandon Terry, Chris Godsey, Jason Hagood, and Joey Jackson.
