Jean Elizabeth Bolton Burns age 88 of Guin, AL passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.
Born November 26, 1926 in Cherokee, AL she is the Daughter of the late Marvin and Sally Ann Hester Bolton and the Wife of the late Thomas Rice Burns, Jr. Formerly of Cherokee, AL she had lived in Guin the past 18 years and was a member of the Guin First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a Daughter, LeAnne Burns of Guin, AL, a Son, Thomas M. Burns (Patricia) of Bartlett, TN, a Granddaughter, Leslie Ritchie (Jordan), A Sister, Martha Brackeen of Muscle Shoals, AL and Special Grandchildren, Jordan Byars, Jule Anna Byars, Gavin Williams, Zella Ann Williams and Molly Kate Rhudy.
Services will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Maud Cemetery. Rev. Tom Hammons and Rev. Belinda Freeman are officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
