Mrs. Jean Dye Ryan, 84 of Arab, died Wednesday January 17,2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Ryan was born August 22, 1933 in Tallapoosa County to George Washington Dye and Esther Rebecca Devore Dye. She worked for Ryan Manufacturing as a seamstress until her retirement. Her husband: Nolan Ryan preceded her in death May 3, 1994. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and working in her house. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, watching soap operas and listening to gospel and country music.
She was a member of Ryan Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ryan is survived by her children and in-laws: Stanley Ryan, Jackie Ryan West and Josh, LuAnn Williams and Craig and Jami Ryan Bailey; her grandchildren: Courtney Brockmudler, Chelsea Ryan, Jerry West, Ginger Cain, Sherri Brudon, Colby Williams, Macy Williams, Josh Williams, Hailey Jordan, Madison Green and Blake Burgett and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: George Washington and Esther Rebecca Dye, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Terry Hudson and Michael King, officiating. Burial will be in Ryan Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chaple, directing.
Pallbearers will be Colby Williams, Madison Green, Matt Jordan, Chevy West, Jerry West and Gary Green.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
