JB Walker, age 83, of Double Springs, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020. JB was born to William and Mamie Walker on February 2, 1936 in Winston County, Alabama.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Double Springs Church of Christ where services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Midway Memorial Gardens in Moulton. Vance Hutton will officiate.
JB is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lavonia Walker; son, Barry (Terri) Walker; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth (Matthew) Richardson; sister, Jean Skaggs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Jessie Geranium Joseph Memory Walker; mother, Mamie Melinda Pair Walker; brothers, Luke Walker, Palmer Walker, and Demp Walker; sisters, Mittie Chandler, Estelle Cain, Edna Walker, Dorothy Walker, Lee Thomas, IV Farley, and Winnie Ellenburg.
