Mr. JB “Bert” Shumate 95, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife Rachel Shumate, parent Oscar and Ollie Ruth Shumate, brothers; Manuel, Alan, Alonzo, and sister Lawanda. He is survived by his daughter Ruth Hicklen, and 2 half brothers Johnny and Herbert Shumate.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6-8pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 1pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
