Jayson Allen Culver, born June 16, 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia to Tresea Lynn Culver, passed away December 3, 2023 at his home in Huntsville, Alabama.

Jayson, aka Big E, was the most kind-hearted, loving, helpful, jokester known to all that knew him. The friendships he formed have lasted for many years. Some of those friendships, like the one he had with his BFF Bryan Christa, have lasted most of his life and became unbreakable bonds that felt more like family. His friends and family meant a lot to him. Even if he did it in the most annoying way, he made sure his love was known by everyone he cared about.

Jayson is survived by his mother, Tresea Culver; mother and father, Billy and Susan Culver; wife, Shannon Brooks-Culver; his ex-wife, Tina (Jimmy) Beasley; son, Cody (Melanie) Culver; daughter, Ashley (Joe) Holder, son, Bradley Smartt; daughters, Whitney Smartt and Sydney (Hunter) Tipton; grandchildren, Madelyn and Curtis Culver and Joe Holder IV; brothers, Jonathan (Endyleen) Culver, Adam Culver, and Timothy (Erin Frught) Culver; cousins, Matthew Culver and Holly DeVerteuil; aunt, Cynthia (Thomas) Culver, and many more cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that loved him very much.

Jayson was preceded in death by his uncles, David Clayton Culver and Thomas Wayne Culver; his grandparents, Buddy Clayton Culver and Bonnie (Ralph) Pilgrim.
A visitation honoring Jayson will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, 1340 North Main Street, Arab, AL. 35016
