Funeral for Jay Lewis Hughes, 80, of Houston will be Monday, October 2, 2017, at New Home Baptist Church, at 3:00 PM with Ricky Moody officiating. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing . Visitation will be two hours before the service.. Mr. Hughes, who died Saturday, September 30, 2017 and was born Saturday, September 18, 1937, to J. T. Hughes and Valdia Wertenberger Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
