Jay Frederick Onken, 54, of Toney, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Mr. Onken was a native of Mason City, IL and a resident of Madison County since 1989. He attended Hazel Green United Methodist Church and retired from NASA in 2018 with 29 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Erin Marie Onken; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Onken; two sons, Jacob Frederick Onken and Michael Jay Onken; stepdaughter, Juliana Marie Vinson; father and mother, John Frederick and Elizabeth Marie Onken; sister, Debra Schweitzer; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Monday, June 7th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by service at 2:00 with Rev. Kim Scites officiating.
