Jay Barton Stansbery, age 88 of Clarksville passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Fieldstone Place in Clarksville, TN. There are no services planned.
Mr. Stansbery was born March 26, 1936 in Nebraska to the late Kenneth and Florence Scott Stansbery. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Stansbery.
Mr. Stansbery enjoyed watching football, basketball and baseball. He also was an avid reader of many books and loved horse racing.
He is survived by former wife Judi Stansbery; daughters, Heather (Spencer) Damer of Adams, TN; Shanie Madrid of Clarksville; sister Paige (John) Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Chase Damer, Trevor Damer, Brooklyn Richmond; great-grandchildren, Mason Johnson, Callie Johnson and Beau Damer.
