Javier Ramirez, 66, of Ecru, MS formerly of El Paso, TX, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Methodist Healthcare North in Memphis, TN. He was a lovable, charismatic, and hardworking man who devoted his life to his family, always ensuring his loved ones were cared for and never hesitating to look out for those around him. He had a unique way of making everyone laugh, no matter his life’s circumstances. His personality lit up the room, and his laughter and kindness were unforgettable. He loved deeply and cared endlessly, with strength, hard work, love, and a gift for bringing joy to his family among the many qualities that made him the man we were blessed to call Dad. His absence leaves a huge void in our lives, but the love he gave and the memories he created will stay with us forever.
Javier is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, daughter, four sisters, and one brother.
The funeral service is set for Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Pontotoc. Visitation will take place Thursday evening from 5 to 9 PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with burial to follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
