Jasper “Earle” Brown – Obituary

MSSGT Jasper “Earle” Brown, 63, of Rogersville died Thursday, January 16, 2014, at ECM Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2014, at Elkins East Chapel from 6-9 PM.  Funeral services will be Saturday, January 18, 2014, 11 AM at Elkins East Chapel , with Chris Barnett and James Waddell officiating.  Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery.

He retired from TVA as a Public Safety Officer.  He also retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sargent serving in Vietnam.  He was Combat Arms Instructor for the Reserves and belong to the VFW and American Legion Post 11.  He was a long time member of the Lee Heights Baptist Church.  He loved his family and his grandchildren were his LIFE.

MSSGT Brown was preceded in death by his parents Osville and Lonie Brown; grandson, Jesse Coleman Brown; one sister; two brothers.

MSSGT Brown is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Donna Brown; two sons, Michael Brown and Russ Brown (Lana); four grandchildren, Katie, Mollie, Lathan, and Damien.

Pallbearers will be Matt Burbank, Jackie Holt, Joey Holt, Ronnie Liverett, Blake Haithcoat, and Danny James.
